Magician Star Newman has been engaging audiences in Theatres, for Fortune 500 companies as well as at select private clubs & social events for 30 years. She has been a featured performer at Chicago Magic Lounge as well as Wizardz Magic Theatre. In 2022 she was the closing act for Season 8 of the CW Network TV show, Penn and Teller's Fool Us.

Her intriguing performances are informed by having spent her life immersed not only in Magic but also in the Arts and Humanities. Star studied playwriting, set design and acting to receive her BA in Theatre; since then, she has been actively involved in productions both on stage and off as a playwright, prop designer and stagehand.
