    Let's Bring Back...

I have been recently inspired by a great book called Let's Bring Back by Lesley M.M Blume

This delightful book spoke to me as I am currently trying to revive the time when magic was a sophisticated affair performed in posh parlors and penthouses (as opposed to it's current form in grungy street magic and  cheesy  illusion shows.) As the world races to new new new, some amazing traditions are left behind. Yes, I'm socially connected  via Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn etc (and please by the way do follow me if you would be so kind.) but goodness doesnt getting all gussied up and meeting new people over martinis and champers  sound much more appealing than joining a new circle on Google+ ?

Next time you are planning on hopping on twitter to "engage" with your customers why not combine new technology with old school charm and host a cocktail party tweet-up for them.  If you want inspiration for it Ms Blume has just released a follow up book called "Let's Bring Back - Cocktail Edition, which contains the recipes for some truly remarkable drinks.  Also I would be remiss if I didn't mention adding a magician to such an event can be a fantastic ice breaker and touch of elegance....
